The Executive Director of the Songea District Council (Songea DC) invites applications from qualified and capable Tanzanians to fill the vacant position(s) as specified below.

1. POSITION: RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II

Key Responsibilities:

Recording incoming letters in the Incoming Correspondence Register.

Recording letters going out of the institution in the Outgoing Correspondence Register.

Distributing files to Action Officers.

Receiving files from Action Officers.

Returning files to racks/filing cabinets or their designated storage areas.

Tracking the movement of files within the Institution (File tracking).

Salary Scale: TGS C

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS

All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania generally aged between 18 and 45 years.

Applicants must attach a self-sufficient Curriculum Vitae (CV) including a reliable postal address, telephone numbers, and email address, along with names of three reliable referees.

Applications must be accompanied by Certified Copies of Education and Professional Certificates:

Form IV/VI National Examination Certificates.

Professional Certificates (Certificate/Diploma).

Computer Certificate.

"Testimonials", "Provisional Results", "Statement of Results", and "Result Slips" will NOT be accepted.

Applicants who studied abroad must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).

Retired Public Servants are not allowed to apply unless they hold a specific permit.

Submission of forged information and qualifications will lead to strict legal action.
