Role Overview: Unit Manager
The Unit Manager is responsible for leading the production team to achieve manufacturing goals. This involves managing resources, ensuring safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Leading the unit to achieve set production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Team Leadership: Managing and developing a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, and training.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are strictly followed.
Cost Management: Optimizing production costs and managing the unit's budget effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Implementing world-class manufacturing (WCM) practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Food Science, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in a FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) manufacturing environment.
Leadership: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a production plant.
Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, budget control, and team dynamics.
Attributes: High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and a result-oriented mindset.
