Mevanti Energy is hiring a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer to drive technical excellence in designing, managing and implementing advanced solar PV systems. This role combines deep engineering expertise with client engagement and project leadership for impactful renewable energy projects in Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering design and execution of solar PV installations for residential, commercial and industrial clients
Conduct site assessments, load analysis and energy modeling
Oversee project delivery, quality control and system commissioning
Collaborate with the sales team to translate customer needs into technical solutions
Participate in technical marketing initiatives and exhibitions
Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians
Technical proficiency in solar design tools like PVSyst, Helioscope or AutoCAD is highly valued.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years proven experience in solar PV system design and deployment
• Strong understanding of batteries (LiFePO₄), inverters and grid-tied/off-grid systems
• Excellent communication skills and experience in technical proposal writing
• Ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time.
